How Will My Sponsorship Funds Be Utilized?

Corporate sponsorship monies help LYPA -- an organization which provides emphasis on personal, civic and professional development for local professionals between the ages of 21 - 40 -- remain a minimal dues organization. This encourages all young professionals to participate, regardless of their financial situation. As the membership grows, and the need for a greater diversity of professional development and networking opportunities arises, sponsorship monies will insure that our members continue to receive quality opportunities for growth as young professionals.

LYPA is currently 100% volunteer supported, but incurs costs associated with our website and administrative support of our committees: Membership, Community Involvement, Professional Development, and Communications. Therefore, unrestricted sponsorship monies are our greatest asset!

Our sponsorship opportunities allow your business to connect with our 500+ members through our email and web site, as well as our events.
Starting in 2011, LYPA members will be given membership cards as part of their benefits. Your business may offer discounts or deals to LYPA members as part of your sponsorship, and can validate those offerings by asking members to show their card in order to receive the offer. We want to help drive new business opportunities to our sponsors!

Tiers of sponsorship are offered to allow maximum flexibility in partnering with LYPA.

Tier ONE: E-news Sponsorship
$50-$600

LYPA sends a bi-weekly email newsletter to over 1000 young professionals in the area. This newsletter is the main form of communication with our members. If your company would like to reach this targeted demographic, an E-News sponsorship is for you.

The e-news sponsorship includes:
• Your logo will be featured in our e-news with a link to your web site
• Any discounts or specials you may like to solicit to LYPA members will be included in the same email.

Sponsorship is $50 per e-news, once each month for three months for $150 and yearly is $600.

Tier TWO: Annual Sponsorship

$500

Annual sponsorships are critical to LYPA’s successful partnerships with leading businesses in Lexington. As a general sponsor of LYPA, we seek for opportunities to partner and network with your company beyond traditional capacities, and welcome ideas on how we may best work together. With an annual sponsorship, some exclusivity in categories may be considered.

Annual sponsorship includes:

• Your logo and web link in one (1) e-news per month
• The opportunity to create a brief promotional message to be included in three (3) e-newsletters per year
• Your logo and web link on the www.lypa.orgweb site for one year
• Complimentary corporate LYPA membership; young professionals in your office can attend events as a corporate member
• Your business will be preferred for LYPA events, including happy hours, banquets, meetings, etc.
• Your business will be preferred for LYPA business needs and/or professional development partnerships for our members
• The opportunity to develop other ideas for partnership as mutually beneficial for both parties

Tier THREE: Event Sponsorship
$500-1000

LYPA holds several key events throughout the year surrounding Membership, Professional Development, and Community Involvement. Businesses may serve as a title sponsor of an event for $1000, or as an exclusive category sponsor of an event for $500. Sponsorship at any events includes the opportunity to set up a booth and/or bring promotional materials to the event.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT EVENTS

LYPA Rising Stars
The Rising Stars program is designed to honor individuals under the age of 40 who are emerging leaders in the Lexington community. Started in 2003, the goal of Rising Stars is to honor those young professionals who have dedicated much of their time to making Lexington a better place to live. It is our hope that by recognizing these unique individuals, they will value the importance of continuing their careers in the Lexington area and continue to give back to the community in so many different ways.

The Rising Stars program for 2011 will be held in September and will include promotional efforts in local media outlets.

Career Workshop

LYPA will hold its first-ever Career Workshop in 2011, linking our talented membership of young professionals with the resources they need to succeeed in the Lexington area. In order to hold a successful workshopand provide the most value to businesses and our membership, this event be free for attendees. To cover the cost of the event, sponsorship dollars will be greatly needed.

The 2011 Career Workshop is scheduled for May.

Professional Development Networking Nights

LYPA is focused on providing new avenues for professional development to its members. We seek to partner with businesses to host intimate networking functions between industry leaders and young professionals. These opportunities are available for $500 and could serve as a great resource for finding young Lexington talent in your business field.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT EVENTS

Cornhole Tournament Benefitting Hospice of the Bluegrass
LYPA will hold a Cornhole Tournament in 2011, and all team entry fees will go benefit Hospice of the Bluegrass. LYPA does not keep any percentage of proceeds from charitable events; sponsorship support is greatly appreciated.

The Cornhole Tournament will be held in June.
