LYPA serves dinner @ Ronald McDonald House
[Sunday, Jul 12th, 2009 - Tuesday, Nov 30th, 1999]
Join LYPA Sunday, July 12 for a service project at the Ronald McDonald House. LYPA members will serve dinner to families living at the Ronald McDonald House. We are currently looking for a donation for a food donation to provide the dinner. Depending on the number of volunteers, an additional "house project" may be partnered with this event. LYPA volunteers @ Sayre Christian Village
[Tuesday, Jul 21st, 2009 - Tuesday, Nov 30th, 1999]
Join LYPA Tuesday, July 21 at 6 pm at Sayre Christian Village for “Music in the Garden” with the residents. LYPA volunteers will provide dessert for this activity. Volunteers are also needed to make cookies (about 40 residents) as well as the night of the event to serve dessert and hang with the residents. Atomic Dog
[Thursday, Jul 30th, 2009 - Tuesday, Nov 30th, 1999]
Bring your furry friends to LYPA's Atomic Dog, benefiting the Lexington Humane Society, on Thursday, July 30. We will host the social on the patio at Atomic Café (corner of 3rd and Limestone in downtown Lexington) from 6 - 8 pm and will raise money for LHS by holding a door prize raffle and pet photo contest. Atomic Dog has become one of LYPA's largest annual events. This is a bring-your-pet event. Well behaved pets on leashes are welcome! RSVP at http://doodle.com/hfs9y2vaden3wv7m or on Facebook.

Photo entry for the pet photo contest is $5 before the event and $8 onsite. T-shirts will be given to everyone who enters a photo before July 28. Photo categories are: Best Dog, Best Cat, Funniest Pet and Most Unusual Pet. Email photo submissions (including name of the pet, category, name of the owner,owner's email address and phone number) to Megan McLain at mclainmegan@hotmail.com.
