Membership Committee Meeting - Open to all members

If you have enjoyed your membership in LYPA and want to recruit new and diverse individuals to our organization, please join us on Monday, February 6 for the first Membership Committee meeting. We will meet from 6:00-7:00pm at Village Host Pizza to discuss our 2012 membership plan. 

Volunteers Needed to Help With High School Students at Singletary Center

The Lexington Philharmonic is looking for volunteers to help with high school students during their rehearsals Monday - Wednesday from 4:30-7:30. 

This is in relation to the Lexington Philharmonic's Composer-in-residence Program.

Community Involvement Committee Meeting

If you are interested in helping plan community volunteer events and shaping the direction of LYPA's interaction within the volunteer community of Lexington then I invite you to join the Community Involvement Committee.

We will meet at Village Host Pizza at 6pm to discuss what volunteer opportunities you would like to see LYPA participate in as well as the general direction of our volunteer efforts.

LYPA Happy Hour for a Cause

Location: Trust Lounge at 123 West Main Street (click here for a map)
All street meter parking will be free after 5pm and there are also several central parking lots nearby.

Join LYPA for our monthly happy hour to benefit a local charity. Enjoy an evening networking and mingling with other young professionals from the Lexington area.  Guests are welcome to attend.

This month's happy hour will benefit God's Pantry and Trust will be donating 15% of profits from the event to this organization. All guests are also invited to bring any canned goods they wish to donate.

Trust will be offering $2 domestics and $3 wells all night. LYPA members will receive additional discounts including $5 glasses of wine, $5 cocktails, and $5 select imported beers.

Polar Plunge Volunteer Opportunity

If you have recently joined our organization or if you know someone who is interested in learning more about LYPA, this is a great opportunitiy to learn about our history, mission, upcoming social and philanthropic events, and meet the 2012 officers.
