LYPA is proud to support the efforts of our community organizations. If you have a community event or announcement you would like to share with our membership, please contact Kim Boblitt at communications@lypa.org and for all events, please include the event name, date and brief details.

Trailgating at the Top
Location: Spindletop, 3414 Ironworks Pike (across from the Ky Horse Park)
1:00pm-6:30pm

Lexington – You’ve tailgated. But, have you “trail-gated”? Bluegrass Tomorrow & Saint Joseph Hospital, now part of KentuckyOne Health invite you to enjoy “Trailgating at the Top” – a “summer kickoff” lawn party at Spindletop Hall featuring live music, food, swimming, law n games, beer/wine, and raffle/silent auction.

There are 2 ways to get in:
You can take the Legacy Trail to Spindletop (BIKE, HIKE, ETC.) for only $5 per person
**OR**
Drive to the Main Entrance of Main Spindletop for $10 per person
(or $35 for a full carload)

Would you like to help the tornado victims?

The Kentucky Horse Council's office has been overwhelmed this week with calls, emails, etc pertaining to last week's tornadoes. We are needing a few people to come volunteer some of their time to help with the relief efforts we have started.

We'll need help with:

Answering the phone
Making phone calls
Keeping spreadsheets up to date
Updating our website
Organizing resources & donations

If you are organized, can communicate clearly on the phone/emails, computer saavy, etc., we would love to have your help!
